Our history

In 1907 Charles & Franziska Rothmann established Rothmann’s Steakhouse and espoused the tradition of serving fine food and providing impeccable service, attracting celebrities and dignitaries over the years including President Theodore Roosevelt, Jaqueline Kennedy, and Elizabeth Taylor.

For more than a century, Rothmann’s has kept that tradition and is recognized as one of the premier steakhouses in New York, serving the best prime dry aged steaks, creative and fresh sushi, and pouring the finest wines and spirits to our distinguished guests and friends.
